Clinton on the ropes in Iowa
Among likely Democratic caucus-goers in this ABC News/Washington Post poll, 33 percent support Obama, 29 percent Clinton and 20 percent Edwards, with single-digit support for the other Democratic candidates, ABC News reports. That’s similar to the 30-26-22 percent division in the last ABC/Post poll in Iowa a month ago.
After her long, double-digit lead over Obama, why do you think Hillary is falling behind?

I agree with Kyle A’s assessment “People have been listening,” but think he should include not only to her but to her husband as well. Yesterday I heard him say the media was doing his wife in. I couldn’t stop laughing.
The candidates spend real time with real people out there in Iowa, and as Abrahma Lincoln said: you can fool some of the people….

Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton fatigue would be more like it. Enough with dynasties.

She is declining because to know her isn’t to love her. The more one sees the less one likes.

Actually, KRM, the more one hears the less one likes. Can you imagine having to listen to that voice for 4 to 8 years? I believe Iowans have heard it enough that they want a smoother, calmer voice like Obama’s.

I believe it’s a combination of factors, dynasty fatigue being one. But the primary factor, I believe, is that she’s just doesn’t come across as a sincere and likeable person, whereas Obama’s public persona is just the opposite.

I’m with kBells–it is all Oprah’s fault.

People are tired of Bill and Hillary –
The mishap, when the sound system was still ON, and Edwards and Hillary were busy talking about themselves and leaving others out, has NOT been forgotten. Now with the news on front page of DRUDGE and other places, Hillary has no chance –

Who told you first that Hillary was a red herring?

Victoria,
Ya gotta love the National Enquirer
Daily Kos is repoting that Obama is Edwards’ love child by Senator Clinton.

Ooooh. I just came across this:
http://news.finditt.com/NewsStory.aspx?id=30959&cat=14
Conspiracy theorists believe that the scandal was published because Roger Altman, a key owner of the National Enquirer, is a large backer to the Hillary Clinton campaign.
Altman was an official for the Bill Clinton administration, and his name is often mentioned as a possible Clinton Treasury Secretary.
Maybe? It wouldn’t surprise me.
