#3, I think he gave a pretty good hint by mentioning the picture of his boss--that was enough for me at least.

This brings back memories. I had 10 years for the same publisher before I voluntarily went freelance. My company kept us "trading spaces," so in that 10 years I had at least three different offices, maybe more, plus some times of "temporary office space" when we'd be in a certain location for two or three months while they fixed up our old space for someone else and our new space for us. But when I actually left, the sorting computer files and paper files was immense.

Congratulations on the move, and I hope it's a great match for you.

I did an informal interview for WORLD once--there were no immediate openings, but Joel Belz liked my resume and told me to "stop in" some time "if I was ever in the area," so a few months later, when I was preparing to visit my brother in Chattanooga, I let him know I'd be close enough to drive over, and I got the grand tour and a get-to-know-me interview. So I've seen WORLD's offices and met the people who worked in house. It's not exactly a "normal" group of people you'll be working with, but I suspect you know that already! Hey, I wouldn't have sent my resume to a normal company. (My interview was exactly one week before 9/11 and I flew back to Chicago two days before. The fact that I'd just interviewed for a news magazine was weird!)

Not related to the topic exactly, but...1992 was a great year for me as well. My daughter, Christina (2nd & last child), was born in June, 1992.
