That's the whole purpose of endorsements. There will always be some people who factor endorsements into their choices and some who don't. There's nothing unusual about Oprah's endorsement in that regard. (I never understood Oprah's appeal though, so maybe I'm not as able to see how she'll have any more influence than any other celebrity endorsement, e.g., Chuck Norris for Huckabee.)
