Colorado has gone way left in past few years. It's not far, far left San Francisco yet but, it is heading that way fast. I don't find their going for Obama 2-1 unusual. There are many on the left who think that Hillary can't win the election and are moving en mass to Obama while creating the JFK myth for him (as this article does), hoping the weak minded can be fooled.

Hillary must be mad as all get out.

Peter L,

Obama should never ever spell out in any detail what his changes would be. Once they know what he has in mind, he can only lose support. His power is with his promise of change not what the change is. It doesn't matter what the change is anyway and those in a trance don't want to know.

Not that Obama is like him but that is exactly how Hitler got elected. He had change in mind all right. Day and night he promised change from every mountaintop, change for the better so eloquently, change, change, change. He swore only he could do it too and boy were they surprised when they found out what kind of change it was.

If Obama is nominated it is best he keep on doing what he has been doing if he wants to be elected and just surprise folks later is he is elected. He is running a great campaign to get elected regardless of what he really has in mind.

Folks just shouldn't ask him too many questions if they want to stay addicted in that trance they love so much.

I would get more out of the article if I could read the all important first paragraph. The picture is too big!

From what I could read, though, I find it interesting that Bergin uses the word “trance” to describe the listeners. It seems the mantra of change does that to people. As someone has pointed out, any of the candidates will be a change. Now if Mr O would tell us what he plans to do!
