Florida redo unlikely
Florida Democratic Party Chairman Karen Thurman offered a proposal today for a mail-in/in-person “do-over” primary in the Sunshine State and urged state leaders, the national party, and the two Democratic presidential candidates to sign on. When asked at a press conference if she thought the plan would be implemented, Thurman said, “I have a feeling that this is probably closer to not, than yes.” Looks like Hillary Clinton’s chances for collecting those Florida delegates may be improving.

Now we can see who can really accomplish something.
If Clinton can’t even rally democrats behind her to have a Florida ballot, there is no way she can fix health care.
Obama can just wait until he sees what options are on the table. If he wanted to appear magnanimous he could fund the new vote. This might score some points and give him the win in FLorida. Most likely he’ll just stall and let the clock run out on Clinton.

Florida Dem just likes to change voter rules after the fact when they don’t like the results.

I wonder how valid the results of a “mail in” ballot would be for a state that can’t seem to vote correctly even when all the sideboards and guardrails are in place to prevent fraud.

An all mail in vote would likely run afoul of the pre-approval requirements of the Voting Rights Act (and there likely isn’t time to get all that in place – particularly with non-official Obama supporters actively opposing it).

Oh.
Florida redo.
At first I thought it said “Florida rodeo” …

A piece of paper, two names and a pencil. Count by hand with a tally chart. Could be set-up and finished within a week. Then again it is florida.
