StuBob: it's all going to be soft money. What is $10 million? a week's worth of fundraising for the presidential campaigns; maybe a couple weeks' worth for some of the Dem funders.

And Lloyd: for the Dems on the ground, there has been a real feeling that they did not get a chance to participate let alone offer the view. The January primary was a beauty contest between Clinton and not-Clinton. The Obama camp would be happy not counting the primary for tactical reasons.

Strategically, you want to include people in the process, not shut them out. That's why at the end of the day, messy as it is, this is a good idea.

A good lesson for their children, "Say what you mean, and mean what you say!"

Florida will remain a problem - the legslature is R controlled and not likely to be cooperative with solving a D mess. The talk of late is to award the delegates 50/50. Hilary is not likely to go for that (both were on Florida's ballot and neither campaigned there).

I just heard it reported that it would be funded by tax-payer money. Conflicting messages. I will not presume to know at this time. Time will tell.

The most important point for Republicans is that this primary will be funded by the DNC. In June. Money they spend on a primary is money they can't spend campaigning for their nominee.
