I wish you hadn’t told me about the online SI Vault Mickey. This will cost me countless hours of productivity this week!

My family had a subscription starting in 1960. I’ve had one in my name since ‘75. We saved every issue, and as a kid I meticulously organized them.

To show how addicted I was to SI, without checking the online Vault, I distinctly remember the Tennessee cover that Deb mentioned above. I even recall the title/caption: “The Bernie and Ernie Show”.

Thank you Mickey!! My wonderful husband is a huge Tennessee fan and I was able to pull up the cover of SI featuring Ernie Grunfield and Bernard King. I”m leaving it on the computer for him to discover later.
