Teens do need cell phones, if there is a problem when their out with friends, activities at school, a quick call to mom or day or the police is important. When kids cars break down on the road, a call to someone for help can save their lives,..... who knows who might drive by and decide to harm a young girl or guy with a flat tire, etc. at least the police or parents know exactly where their child is and do what they can ASAP. I have had a cell phone since they came out, it has saved me many times from a very bad situation, which if I or WE hadn't had a phone it would most likely have turned out badly. Technology has so much potential, but it does seem that most of the time it furthers corruption and shallow behaviour and does nothing to strengthen either our relationship with God or with other men/women.
