I’m not interested in your parents views". That was not meant as a 'put down'- perhaps I should have worded it differently, however life experiences are not the same as getting into a debate and then asking mom and dad for their take on it because you don't know the answer. Your parents views are interesting, but it is YOUR view based on EXPERIENCE which is more important when posting, not that of your parents. I loved having my parents in the ministry, what a wonderful childhood I had. I bet you enjoy your life as a pastors child. That was not meant as a ‘put down’- perhaps I should have worded it differently, however life experiences are not the same as getting into a debate and then asking mom and dad for their take on it because you don’t know the answer.
