I’m new to twitter, so I’m not sure how that works, or if I’m even addressing your question with what I’m about to say. But I bookmarked the page (after I registered & had “following” people listed) — and every time I click on, it just pops up with “my” comments along with others on my list.

I never said anything about not disagreeing.

On topic, for anyone who twitters: I already use a blog compiler/RSS feed (Bloglines) to save time. Would twittering create yet another site for me to check (since I “follow” no one yet) or would it appear in my email or what?

I agree that there’s no need to agree on everything, and this blog would be much less interesting if we all agreed – I doubt I would bother coming here. But I have to comment on this statement:
“I don’t know anyone on this blog who follows “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all””

How would you know whether someone follows this? It’s obvious when someone doesn’t. But there’s no way to know all that things that aren’t said because someone decided it wasn’t nice.

If everyone agreed on everything, and everyone followed some sort of “Golden Rule” (which doesn’t exist) then there would be no discussion at all. I don’t know anyone on this blog who follows “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all” —- If one believes this line, then they should follow it.

People see things from different perspectives, that’s why blogs exist in the first place. If one can’t or shouldn’t offer an opinion, what does that say?
