Core principle hookers around here falsely pretend that Obama is the only monster in America who wouldn’t resign from an establishment job because the organization hired someone who once participated in bad activities unconnected to the current activities of the organization.

Even if such persons are a bad influence, Obama can make a fair argument that withdrawing his own participation could have increased that influence in the organization he left behind.

Further, “responsibility” mongers are criticizing the wrong people. Christians should blame the people who appointed Ayers to the board, not the other prominent Republicans and Democrats who served on the board.

Here’s Drill’s problem: when Americans elect that one to butcher their babies, collectivize their farmland, turn control of their factories and Wal-Marts over to committees of workers, and surrender Israel to the next holocaust, then Drill can say “I told you so” but not “he fooled you.”

Drill: The article revealed nothing that wasn’t already widely known. I don’t know what you think the big revelation is supposed to be. At worst, it shows that Obama initially tried to downplay the matter, which considering how people like you and NJL are now trying to convict him of Ayer’s long-past crimes, I can’t say I blame Obama for.

To repeat: By the mid 1990s, Ayers had become a well-respected member of Chicago academia and his radical days were long behind him. Obama was only one of dozens of politicians, academics and business leaders who had “connections” to Ayers in the same way Obama did. Unless you want to show that ALL those people are “Marxists” determined to “destroy America,” you have no case whatsoever.

And you keep repeating “cop-killer” about Ayers, which is not true. The fact that you keep repeating it even though you’ve been shown several times it’s not true takes away any remaining credibility you might have had. Ayers’ past crimes were bad, but they were not cop-killer bad.

Spinoza: I think it is understandable (although unfortunate) why you are unable to grasp or understand the ethical concept that killing children is wrong.

You have had that portion of your pysche dealing with morality/ethics burned away, seared away, presumably by the culture which you have subsided your humanity into – leaving behind, I suppose, only a sort of impervious scar tissue and a few wistful, tenuous emanations of morality (right and wrong) which will soon enough dissipate entirely.

So it is no surprise that I am having trouble communicating this seemingly basic concept that butchering children is wrong.

It is the ethical equivalent, I think, of trying to explain advanced Math to an unfortunate individual who has had a complete frontal lobotomy.

Anyway, knowing the problem unfortunately does not lessen the pity and the tragedy of it.

Steveg: Nice going. You ignored the gist of the article which clearly stated (in detail) the strong ties of Obama to Ayers which are still being uncovered. And Obama’s deceptions thereof. Typical.

You want to support a cop-killing murdering terrorist who wants to see America destroyed? Go ahead. But don’t try to deceive others as to what you support; or pretend that Ayers is not exactly who Ayers says he was – and is. And why try to hide Obama’s strong connection to this lowlife? All the facts, all the records are available – and have been provided.
