I spoke with two people asking for directions today. What I guess were a mom and daughter. One commented that she liked my Obama button, and showed me one on her purse. I reminded them to get out and vote! She said they were from out of state but had voted absentee before they left — Alaska!!! She said she thought some Alaskans were supporting McCain Palin so Sarah would go away Seriously. I was laughing hard and said I hoped they were stuck with her until the next election. They thought it was funny when I suggested she could work for Faux Noise.

What a great day!

Chas, Obama never stated (as Palin did) that his state is a microcosm of the US. And I hope she takes it more seriously than you do. She can do better; if she choses not to, she may have to settle for a weekend slot on Fox News.

If Chicago WAS a microcosm of the US – you’d see a lot more dead school children. So far this year, the number of troops killed in both Iraq and Afghanistan combined is lower than the number of school aged children in the Big BO’s vaunted “community”.

Hmm. I seemed to have missed the outbreak of concern by the lefties on that one.

Palin can have her reputation back by growing some depth. She has a spark about her that interests people. If she is diligent over the next 4 to 8 years, she may yet make the white house. But she has to have more than one liners. Alaska is NOT a microcosm of the United States, and pretending that it is won’t cut it with the rest of the country.

Exactly Chas. When I posted this news on Whirled Views the irrepressible RPN wasted no time posting other “issues” about Palin.
The question is, can Palin have her reputation back now?
