Jack Kemp has cancer
Former housing secretary, congressman, presidential candidate, vice presidential nominee, and Buffalo Bills quarterback Jack Kemp, 73, has been diagnosed with cancer, according to a statement released by his office in Buffalo. Kemp’s type of cancer was not disclosed, but the statement said he was undergoing tests to assess its origins and the best course of treatment.

This is very sad. I will pray for Mr. Kemp.

This Reagan legatee still gave a solid clear voice to conservatism’s winning and timeless ideals exemplified so well by the Great Communicator himself.
Win one for the Gipper, Jack!

He should have been president and would have been a great one. He possibly would even have outdone Ronald Reagan, because Jack Kemp is a true conservative–a laissez faire capitalist. I supported him during the 1988 primary season. I usually support the ones who don’t make it.
I will pray for Mr. Kemp and for his family.
