Christie takes New Jersey
Republican Chris Christie has been declared the winner of the governor’s race in the very blue state of New Jersey over Democrat incumbent John Corzine. With three-quarters of the precincts reporting, Christie had 50 percent of the vote, with Corzine taking 44 percent, and Independent candidate Chris Daggett picking up about 5 percent.

Congratulations NJL!! Corzine concedes….wow.

So, NJL. You now have what we in Missouri do not, a Republican governor. Though ours, Jay Nixon, is not too bad for a Democrat, so far.

#6 YES YES YES!!!!!!!! We have age limits on court service and those are about to expire.
I really worried about my fellow Jerseyans on this one, and truth be told, the Dems still control the legislature though they did get some kicks in the pants. The top reason for voting Republican was the economy, then property taxes. Corzine actually paid for ads for Daggett, who stole votes from him, not Christie. So, there’s some funny little justice there.
I’m not gone, dear friends, just computerless until Monday when I get FIOS, hopefully. With my luck, the computer will be too old. (Can’t hog workplace computers)

Good to hear from you! I was praying for your state during the election, and hoping you were well. It is good news for NJ. Wall Street has lost a dear friend in Corzine. I hope Christie is better for you all.
