		<description>I do like bookstores that specialize in one genre or that sell mainly antique books. We ran into a cute little one in Maine that specialized in nautical books and a few other things.  I found some old Boy Scout manuals and so forth.  Pretty neat.</description>

Yes, there&#039;s a difference in bookstore personalities, for sure, and I too prefer the ones that are a little different from the norm. In Chicago, the Mustard Seed bookstore tended to stock one each of books, so they could stock a vast variety (not just the best-sellers) and it was worth browsing. And a used-book store in Lincoln Park jammed so many books in that it was hard to find anything, but it was like looking for treasure rather than looking through six copies of yesterday&#039;s best-seller next to ten copies of a book by the same author from the year before . . .</description>
